Privacy Policy

Lap Swim @ Elks Lodge is a staff tool run by Palo Alto Elks Lodge #1471 for lap swimmers to see which pool lanes are open and be emailed when one opens up.

What we collect

When lodge staff sign in with Google, we receive their name and email address. We use them only to confirm that the person is on the lodge staff list and to record which staff member made a change.

The app shows the lap swim lanes booked on the lodge website, with the names of swimmers who choose to share theirs. It keeps each swimmer's name-sharing choice, the extra email addresses they book with, and the hours they asked to be emailed about. When a swimmer books, moves or cancels a lane here, the app does it on the website under the email they pick, with their name, phone and membership number from the lodge's membership records.

How it is used and shared

This information is used only for lodge business. It is visible only to authorized lodge staff, and is never sold or shared with anyone outside the lodge.
